Before making the decision to build the
bin yourself...
|
This checklist is provided to give you a preview of what you need to build the bin.
Read this entire page before deciding to purchase the Do-it-yourself plans. |
- Do you (or whoever
will be building the bins), have access to basic hand and power tools and have
a working knowledge of the proper and safe handling of those tools?
Drilling and cutting the plastic and snipping wire mesh is part of the
process. Use of a power drill, jigsaw/saws-all and wire-snips are suggested. If
these tools and tasks are not within your skill set, then you may want to
consider purchasing a completed
bin.
- You are responsible for your own safety !
The Do-it-yourself
documents contain no specific instructions on how to use the tools suggested within. I provide
clear explanations and images along with dimensions,
hole-sizes & locations. The document will point out where to drill the holes or where to cut the holes... The Document does not provide
descriptions of how to operate tools or perform basic tasks with those tools. For example,
the descriptions will explain that you need to drill a hole but not how to operate the drill or how to hold a jigsaw nor will describe how you should
hold or postion the materials while you work on them.
- There are no project supplies or materials included in the cost of the plans.
You are not purchasing a "Kit", just the plans to show you how to build a bin out of the materials that you obtain.
All of the materials needed are listed in the documents.
