provides information for setting up your own affordable, easy-to-use composting system at home. The "Urn Your Greens" bin uses a three-tier design that originally was inspired by the Daily Dump open-source project based in India. This design uses a urn-rotation process in conjunction with the aerobic method of composting. It is a very easy-to-manage bin that can keep pace with an average family's kitchen waste ("Your Greens"). Here on UrnYourGreens.com you can; learn about composting and pursue your own design or; order a set of easy (yet detailed) Do-it-yourself bin plans and give composting a try in your own backyard.

I would like to encourage as many people as possible to participate in composting at home. My intention when I started this site was to offer Do-It-Yourself plans for a small fee to build your own "Urn Your Greens" Bin. For those who don't have the resources to build their own bins, I do keep a small inventory and I will offer bins for sale right out of the box.
